Step 1: Preparation
Make sure your pet is calm and relaxed. Gently encourage them to lie on their side for easier access to the paws. If your pet is uneasy, try massaging their paws first before trimming. Ensure your PawTrim Lite™ is fully charged before starting.
Step 2: Spread the Paws
Carefully hold your pet’s paw and use your fingers to spread the paw pads. This helps expose the fur between the toes for precise trimming.
Step 3: Start Trimming
Turn on the PawTrim Lite™. Hold the trimmer at a 45° angle and gently glide it over the excess fur. Use slow, steady movements for a safe and accurate trim.
Step 4: Be Extra Careful
Take extra care when trimming between the toes and around sensitive areas. Keep the skin gently stretched and avoid applying too much pressure.
Step 5: Clean & Store
Once finished, turn off your PawTrim Lite™. Remove any hair or debris, and rinse the trimming head under water if necessary. Let everything dry completely before storing the device.
